The SHAPE Blackmagic Ursa Mini Kit is designed to provide a balanced shoulder mount solution and to help you shoot for long hours with comfort. This kit also includes the SHAPE Matte Box 4x4 for optimal image quality. The ergonomic and robust SHAPE Follow Focus Pro is also a part of this bundle, allowing for quick attachment, removal, and repositioning.

The bundle is designed to provide a balanced shoulder mount solution and help you shoot comfortably for long hours. It can be used shoulder mounted, tripod mounted, and attached to V-lock tripod adapters. It should be used with cameras with external viewfinders. The baseplate includes a removable shoulder pad and features rosette adapters for ARRI standard handles. It has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mount threads and a V-lock delta adapter for attaching SHAPE VCT Tripod Plate (VCTSH) or any VCT-14 tripod plate.



SHAPE VCT universal baseplate Arri rosette (BPVCT)

The SHAPE VCT universal baseplate Arri rosette (BPVCT) is a lighter version of the V-lock quick release baseplate (BP0008) without the rear rod bloc. It can be used shoulder mounted, tripod mounted, and attached to V-lock tripod adapters. It should be used with cameras with external viewfinders. The baseplate includes a removable shoulder pad and features rosette adapters for ARRI standard handles. It has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mount threads and a V-lock delta adapter for attaching SHAPE VCT Tripod Plate (VCTSH) or any VCT-14 tripod plate.

The shoulder pad secures on by touch fasteners. The tripod mount threads are located underneath the shoulder pad. One pair of 15 mm 8" rods are included for the front. For attaching a matte-box and other accessories, the rod adapter can be adjusted vertically if you remove the screw holding it in position. This baseplate also supports optional SHAPE 15 mm Studio and 19 mm Studio adapters in place of the included one. The baseplate features three camera mount slots, all supporting 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws. The off-center slots allow you to mount your camera offset if you use a 15 mm Studio Adapter. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads are peppered behind the three slots for attaching articulating arms and other accessories. Two 1/4"-20 and two 3/8"-16 camera mount screws are included.

Spare pad for BP series (BP0050)

The V-Lock Replacement Pad from SHAPE is a replacement shoulder pad for the BP SERIES v-lock quick release baseplate (BP0008, BP8000, BP7000). The pad utilizes a hook-and-loop system which allows for easy attachment and removal. The additional padding provided by the strap increases user comfort and reduces strain on the shoulder.

Pair of rod 15 mm female-female rod (8") (2ROD15FF8)

The SHAPE pair of 15 mm 8" female-female rods are anodized aluminum rods with 1/2"-13 threaded female extremities. The rods are 8" (203mm) long and have a diameter of 0.59" (15 mm). It is compatible with 15 mm 4" or 6" male-female rods, rod bloc, and sliding rod Bloc.

This pair of 4" black 15 mm Extensions Rods features one male end and one female end, each with 1/2"-13 threading. The rods are composed of lightweight anodized aluminum for strength and durability.

Single telescopic handle Arri rosette left side (HAND3)

Left telescopic handgrips with ARRI rosettes that can be attached to cameras or camera support hardware that has standard ARRI rosettes, which allow you to lock your arms in place. The arm features four points of articulation (2 Push-button and 2 ratchet knob) to adjust the arms position. The ratchet knob along the arms allows you to extend the arms up to 2 inches and rotate the handgrips throughout 360°. The one near the rosette gives you more option to position the arm for your comfort.

SHAPE is well known for its patented Push-button handle, now used by so many professionals in the industry. The technology was developped to give filmakers quick and easy adjustment. By simply pressing the button, you are allowed a 360-degree rotation to place the handle in the best position for your use. Push, adjust, release, and then its lock. The Push-button system on the Handle articulating joint provides additional articulation near the rosette, while the second push-button articulation joint allows you to rotate and precisely position the rubber handgrips.

Blackmagic Ursa Mini remote extension handle (URSARH)

The Blackmagic Ursa Mini remote extension handle from SHAPE offers an adjustable arm extension for the side hand grip provided with the Ursa Mini. It features SHAPE's patented Push-Button technology for easy angle adjustment and 360-degree rotation. The extendable arm is equipped with a ratchet key to easily adjust the length of the arm. The remote extension arm enables users to fix the Ursa Mini side hand grip directly on the ARRI rosettes of the baseplate.

Lanc coil cable male-male (LANCCO11)

The SHAPE LANCCO Coiled Male to Male Cable is designed for connecting the SHAPE Remote Extension Handle to the Blackmagic Ursa Mini.
Featuring a standard LANC 2.5 mm male connector on each end, it can also be used for various other applications with cameras that support these connectors. The cable measures 11" long from end-to-end when coiled, and approximately 20" when extended.

Follow Focus Pro (FFPRO)

The SHAPE Follow Focus Pro is an industry workhorse and has already proven itself on countless tough shoots all over the world, so you needn’t worry about it letting you down. SHAPE engineering is internationally renowned and there is one of the most robust motion picture accessories ever built. It mounts on 15 mm rods and features an adjustable arm which puts the gear at the optimal position for the lens, no matter what the diameter is.



The unit snaps onto 15 mm rods, allowing for quick attachment, removal, and repositioning. Two 0.8 pitch gears come included and give you a choice of either 28 teeth or 43 teeth - depending on the throw distance of the lens. Additional features include two adjustable hard stops, removable marking disc, and an industry standard accessory port for using optional whips and cranks. While the Follow Focus Pro contains the essentials for pulling focus on any type of project production, the choice of either 15 mm rod adaptors means that you can SHAPE the system to meet your particular requirements.

Matte box 4x4 (MATT44)

The SHAPE 2-Stage 4 x 4" Matte Box accepts lenses with up to a 100 mm front outside diameter. It mounts to 15 mm LWS rods and utilizes a swing-away design, which lets you perform quick lens changes without having to remove the matte box from your rods. You can adjust the height of the matte box in relation to the rods, which comes in handy when your lens center to rod center height is slightly off from the standard. Two rotating filter stages support the use of 4x4" filters. The matte box comes with a top flag (eyebrow), side flags, four matte box donuts in 66, 72, 82, and 90 mm sizes, and elastic donut. The matte box also has a rear opening of 100 mm for lenses.

The included anti-reflection donuts prevent light behind the camera from reflecting off any filters in the matte box and degrading the image. Included with the matte box are anti-reflection donuts for lenses with a front outside diameter of 66, 72, 82, and 90 mm. The included elastic donut supports lenses with a front outside diameter between 66 and 90 mm, and it is especially useful with lenses that grow and shrink as you change focus or zoom. The side flags incorporate a hook design as a safety feature where they attach to the matte box. This helps prevent them from falling out of the matte box should the lockdown thumbscrew loosen accidentally. The swing-away bracket incorporates a height adjustment, enabling you to compensate a total of 0.65" vertically. This allows you to use this matte box with a variety of camera/rod support combinations that may vary slightly from the industry standard 85 mm distance from LWS rod center to lens port center.
