This Sony 3-Year SupportNET Depot Service Plan extends the factory warranty to 3 years on any Sony professional camcorder with a current sell price of up to $2500. If you originally purchased the camcorder as part of a bundle, such as a camcorder and lens kit, only the price of the camcorder by itself is pertinent.
The plan provides the same kind of coverage as the factory warranty, and it covers sensor and prism block replacement. Coverage will begin the day you purchase the plan, and the plan must be purchased while the camera is under the factory warranty.
