The OP+HMX+AI 3G/HD/SD audio embedder for the 6800+ module core processing platform has up to eight AES and eight analog audio inputs with optical transmitter.

This module allows for control over the picture, has an embedded audio processor for hot-switching embedded audio, provides full audio delay and processing, and has the ability to embed metadata from external sources. The OP+HMX+AI can be used in any broadcast facility where the embedding of AES or analog signals on SD or HD signals is required, or where the processing of SD or HD video and audio signals is essential.

Details

The OP+HMX+AI is an auto-sensing 3G/SD/HD-SDI 4-AES audio multiplexer and processing amplifier with one digital video input and one DARS reference input and has four processed outputs with optical transmitter. The modules support embedding and passing of Dolby E metadata, and picture and sound control through integrated processing amplifiers. The basic OP+HMX+AI provides SD and HD-SDI audio embedding, and there is an optional upgrade to 3G HD-SDI (including dual-link). Another optional upgrade adds four AES inputs, for a total of eight.

The OP+HMX+AI can be controlled manually via card-edge controls with OSD video display or remotely using Magellan CCS Navigator, HTTP web server or third-party SNMP-based control applications. In addition, the module is Q-SEE-compliant, allowing for direct thumbnail.
