Blank panel for left or right side of DRT-4A or DRT-5The DL-870-2CH Serial Digital Legalizer with Proc Amp offers the ultimate solution to the complex world of 3G, HD and SD signals. All popular 3G, HD and SD formats are accepted, with complete flexibility for legalization of 4:4:4 and 4:2:2 signals. The dual channel DL-870-2CH legalizes two HD/SD, or one Dual Link or 3G Dual Stream signal. The DL-870-2CH output format tracks the input format, and can be legalized to HD, SD, RGB, XYZ, and/or Encoded color space. CRC values are monitored and recalculated to ensure proper output values. Input EQ estimating cable length of the incoming video is displayed on the front panel. The instrument has a selection to pass or blank all ancillary data without any alteration except CRC correction.

Details
All of the DL-870-2CH processing controls and legalization limits are adjustable, allowing for many custom configurations to the HD Clips, SD Clips, Encoded gamut and RGB gamut limits. Also included is a 3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SD-SDI monitoring output with on screen gamut error indications. Stereoscopic 3D mode can flip one eye horizontally or vertically when using a mirror camera rig. EBU R 103 mode holds off correction when only a small number of pixels are out of range. Operation of the DL-870-2CH is straightforward, with the front panel OLED display and LED status indications, direct access function selection buttons, and easy menu navigation. All operational parameters, including the selectable bypass function, are also supported via Ethernet using the embedded Web server interface. The DL-870-2CH also supports CCS Navigator control and monitoring software, and SNMP remote control. A user-selectable alarm mask limits the gamut alarm and range indication to a selected picture area, and ignores errors that fall outside the mask. The DL-870-2CH can retain 20 presets with alpha numeric names up to 10 characters each on the front panel display, or web page display.
