The MMIO EMB-HDSDI is a miniature 3Gb/s HDTV/SDI balanced Analogue audio embedder which embeds one balanced stereo signal into the ancillary data space of a 3Gb/s, 1.485Gb/s or 270Mb/s SDI signal. The input stream is embedded as 24 bit audio. Embedding conforms to SMPTE 272M and allows audio to be inserted into any of the four groups, selectable via dip switches. There is automatic input cable equalisation to 50m and a re-clocked SDI output. The unit is housed in an extremely compact and rugged aluminium case and is suitable for both field and studio applications.
